Wii

Jedd teaching Airen how to pitch on the Wii.

This post is especially for Laura, ein Freund von uns, who has been in Germany for too long, cut off from the technological world and the new realm of "exer-tainment".

Airen & Jerry playing baseball

The Wii is a magical device made by Nintendo. One can play games via the console while actually acting out the motions (as if bowling or playing tennis, for example) of the character projected on the screen. Not only this, but one can also create a cartoonish character (called a Mii) in one's own likeness! The Wii is fun for children of all ages and Laura, you must be very sad that you do not have one you can use. You will have to visit us when you are home this summer and we can show you all the wonder that is the Wii.

By the way, Papa Duvall especially enjoys the golf games.

Yeah, that doesnt look addicting or anything... I'm scared to let myself try! Thanks for clearing up my confusion, I thought perhaps it was some new baby gadget like the incredible diaper genie. Tschuss bis spater! :)

Kim- get Jedd to buy you the Warioware games. It brings wii-dom into a beautiful new dimension. Laura- this sorta thing is right up your alley. We'll all have a tournament this summer!
