Milestones

Maxx's second tooth popped through on Thursday.  Which makes him officially Toothy McGee 2.0!  Toothy McGee was the nickname Jedd gave Kyla when she got her first two teeth.  And just like Kyla, Maxx's first teeth are on the bottom.  So when he smiles, you see a gummy smile with two tiny teeth poking through.

Yesterday Maxx tried climbing the stairs (okay, just the first stair) three times in one hour.  In an effort to get a toy and Kyla, who was upstairs, he braved the feat.  The last attempt ended in crying, as I was not close enough to catch him before he bonked his head on the floor.  And so a new chapter begins...

And just this morning, he pulled himself to a standing position without any assistance.  Perhaps he will walk before his second birthday after all (maybe even by his first)!
