Family Photos

This past weekend we had some family portraits taken. Of course, our typically good (2 hour+) napper decided she wasn't going to nap that day. We knew she would most likely fall asleep in the car, so we headed out a little early (for the 25 minute trip) and took care of a couple errands along the way. Unfortunately, when we got to the studio, Kyla was still a little groggy. The flash seemed to startle/confuse/annoy her. Also, she seemed somewhat wary of the photographer and refused to be her cheerful, smiley self. So in most of the pictures, Kyla has a variety of facial expressions ranging from ambivalent, surprised, sleepy and generally annoyed. Despite her lack of enthusiasm, the pictures turned out pretty good.
